The president of Catalonia, Carles Puigdemont, has given a lecture on digital politics at the University of Helsinki. It’s title is ‘Small states and social network politics in a globalised world. Towards a Digital Republic in Catalonia’. The event was moderated by World Politics professor Teivo Teivainen.
Puigdemont explores the possibilities of an e-republic, drawing inspiration from the case of Estonia.
