Juan Antonio Bayona, candidat als Oscar per ‘La societat de la neu’

L’Acadèmia de les Arts i les Ciències Cinematogràfiques de Hollywood ha fet públiques avui les nominacions per als noranta-sisens premis Oscar, entre les quals destaca la nominació de La societat de la neu, del català Juan Antonio Bayona, a les categories de millor film internacional i millor maquillatge i perruqueria. A més, Robot Dreams, produïda per l’estudi barceloní Arcadia Motion Pictures, ha estat nominada a millor film d’animació. Els guanyadors se sabran en la gala que es farà la matinada del 10 de març a Los Angeles.

El film que ha sumat més nominacions és Oppenheimer amb tretze, seguida de Poor Things i Killers of the Flower Moon amb onze i Barbie amb vuit. El rècord d’estatuetes guanyades per una mateixa pel·lícula el tenen Titanic, Ben-Hur i El Senyor dels Anells: El Retorn del Rei amb onze.
