La cantant estoniana Merili Varik ha enregistrat en anglès ‘It’s time’, (‘Ara és l’hora’), una versió de la cançó en estonià del seu darrer disc i que dedica a la independència ‘de la meva estimada Catalunya’.
Varik va ser durant sis anys la veu i la cara d’AgentM, un grup molt popular al Bàltic, amb cançons premiades per MTV. El 2011 va començar una carrera tota sola en què va enregistrar diversos discs i va actuar regularment en diversos països, entre els quals a Catalunya, unes quantes vegades. En el vídeo de la cançó, Varik apareix amb una estelada gravada a la mà mentre canta en anglès ‘és l’hora de defensar les vostres llibertats / és l’hora de recuperar-les’.
